Hey, if Juan Diaz can cash in already with a Hatton fight more power to him. I think that Hatton out muscles him and brings more power to the table. If Juan's body and chin can stand up he might be able to outwork Ricky for a close decision. But the odds are clearly in Hatton's favor.

This would be a fantastic fight for the real fans of boxing. I hope it comes off. I would be inclined to go with Hatton - but Diaz is a non-stop punching machine. Fight of the Year candidate without a doubt.

Pac said Diaz was easy to beat after Diaz destroyed his country man Randy Suico. Well Diaz is basically telling Pac to put his money where his mouth is.

For Diaz, it means more money to fight Hatton than a Pacquiao. I actually commend him for taking on the bigger prize fighter than the smaller prize fighter. More of a risk.

For Hatton, it looks really good if someone smaller is coming up to challenge him and he's bringing his trinkets. General fans wouldn't know he difference between superlight weight and welter weight.

    crap...i'm high as a mofo.

Diaz is not bad going up to 140.

    link please?

all i know was that pac was interviewed in his home country during that time... and as seen in the video there no indication that it was Juan's response to what "manny said" but more like him defending the mexican pride (not to mention getting his highest paycheck if he fights pac)

Merchant even said in that interview that "theres talk about manny pacquiao but theres no indication that he is ready to fight you yet"

Wierd coz he is the lightweight champion and yet he's calling out a smaller not even a champion Pacquiao... Can't blame him though Pac destroyed his countrymen it must have hurt his pride...

    Hatton by KO!

this is going to be a great fight if it ever materializes. both are very good inside offensive fighters. diaz throws a lot more punches though and is very accurate w/ his short compact punches. hatton will try to out muscle jd in the inside though and deliver his wicked body punches.

what i dont get is, why does hatton want juan diaz when he has paulie malignaggi, junior witter, gavin reese and ricardo torres to take care of, i think he knows he stands no chance against those guys.

prove me wrong ****er, hatton wants juan diaz (a man who can probably make super feather) instead of the weakest belt holder in his division.

you have a point with witter and probably paulie. but **** off with the gavin rees ****, no one gives a damn what that fat turd does with his career and no one is interested in fighting him because he brings nothing to the table.

its because he didn't know what he was in for with floyd, he expected floyd to pot shot him, lose a ud and take the money home, what he didn't know was that floyd was going to knock his ass out cold.
