he got beat by old nate campbell, so? atleast he didn't get ko'd by a couple of bums from thailand like manny did:rofl :rofl he still kicks manny's ass around the ring, i would bet my car on it.
Its going to be hard for Diaz to come back from this one. Campbell showed that Juan may not have the power to compete among the elite. Of course at lightweight, Manny may not bring his power up with him. However, it remains to be seen how Diaz reacts to not being unbeaten anymore. He seemed to get discouraged and resigned to losing by the 9th round against Campbell. Even after the fight, he stated that he just wanted to finish. When your goal is to finish and not to win, maybe he lost his confidence.Without at least that, a comeback to the big time is unlikely.
Juan Diaz would beat the mustache off Manny :yep But you can keep your shitty car Relentless, nobody wants to sit in a back see with your face print in the seat and dried up gizz on the windows :deal
Your talking about fights that happened nearly a decade ago to a weightdrained Pac vs Juan Diaz loosing a fight in his prime with no known weight problems a couple of days ago?
looks like it. :good all he knows is to trade in the inside and campbell beat him at his own game. he's even more 1-D compared to pac.
Juan Diaz is just one of those fighters that is beatable, but also has a very good chance to beat anyone on any given night. He is a pressure fighter with no real power in either hand and no real versatility. Prime or not Prime, this is how his career will go. he will never be dominant in any given weight class that is deep with talent, because there are just styles out there that are aimed at exploiting his. This isn't a knock on him at all, I think he is a great fighter.....this is just boxing.
Some people got it and some people don't though. He will never be a prime Roy Jones or a prime Floyd Mayweather. He will no doubt improve and one loss doesn't mean ****, especially given all the solid wins he has tallied up. But be realistic dude, you have to agree somewhat with what I'm saying...after all I do know a hell of a lot more about boxing then you do :yep
