Kahn's nowhere near ready for the likes of diaz. i don't think he's even ready for berrera. and think the fight is a bad choice. remember, berrera pretty much finished hamed's career and naz was far more talented than kahn, admittedly MAB has slipped a fair bit since then but personally i still feel he'll be more than kahn can handle. so to talk about him stepping in with guys like juan diaz after watching how well he did against jmm for the 1st four rounds or so last night, forget it, kahn's not in the same league. i'd like to see him face and beat a few of the top domestic fighters first (which ive believed from the start) guys like jono thaxton or john murray before he starts talking about title shots. the fight with jono should have been made when jono was british champ and kahn the commonwealth champ as it was a natural, but in boxing we seldom get what we want.

I think the key here is the Barrera fight, after seeing that we will all be able to gauge (hopefully) Khan's qualities. No doubt he has improved under Dr Roach, and we will get to see what happens. There was only so much we learnt from the ***an bout. Barrera WILL provide a test and win or lose we wil learn much about Khan's abilities. Only after this will be able to decide who would provide a good match up for Khan in the near future. As it stands Id say a fight with Diaz in one for the future ie next year minimum, Diaz is wayy too live and active and will pressure Khan more than he has ever seen and simply KO him.

Diaz would destroy Khan. Khan is nowhere near that level and I really doubt he ever will be

    Agree:good

If Diaz can smother Marquez' skills for the first few rounds, imagine what he would do against Khan.

And if Diaz lands on Khan like he did on Marquez in the second round then it is most defintely lights out time for Amir.

    Diaz KO.

What is the point of this?

Amir Khan could not deal convincingly with the pressure Michael Gomez brought to the table.

Diaz in a round. If Khan was jumped on like JMM was last night he'd be ****ed.

Im a big fan of Khan but right now Diaz would KO him inside the first for rounds.. Diaz hit marquez with some pretty big punches last night whick would KO Khan.. However, wait and see Khan in the Barrera fight and if he looks good and his defence has improved the maybe in 2-3 fights Diaz is a possibility...

Unfortunately for Khan Diaz is only a couple of years older than him so he aint going anywhere soon.

Khan destroyed Gomez, after Gomez's final stand, turned him into a punch bag.

However Diaz will KO Khan early on.
