Juan Diaz vs. Amir Khan

1. Diaz is a much better fighter
2. Diaz is all wrong for Amir. When Kotelnik went on the offensive Khan was getting hit. Now imagine a fighter who does that with more power, more speed, more intensity and over 12 rounds. Khan would get blown away.

For me Diaz is the best LW on the planet , i dont know how he is going to fair @140 and dont know the reasons behind the move as he seemed to make the weight pretty comfortable before hand and looks like a very strong LW , so not sure of the reasons for the jump up .

Even though Khan is now officially a 140 lb'er , and does look bigger and more suited at that weight id still fancy Diaz to TKO him at the moment but if Diaz stays @140 and looks good and maybe picks up a title in 18 months time providing Khan is still a champion this fight is pretty much un avoidable .

Khan's not ready for a Juan Diaz.

I see the Baby Bull putting constant preassure on Khan, overwhelming him, and stopping him in the late rounds.

Although Diaz hasn't got KO power, he'll land enough hurtful shots that will take their toll on Khan.

 

Diaz throws punches in bunches and he's aggressive. Exactly the worst kind of fighter for Khan to face. Diaz doesn't have a lot of power, true, but you don't need a lot of power to buzz Khan.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Juan Diaz is the worst possible match-up for an Amir Khan. He would smother him with combination punches the moment the bell goes, and he will land a left hook that sends Amir Khan packing, relatively early.

I see no way Khan sees the 12th, Diaz hurt Marquez, he can hurt Khan.

 

Diaz by tko. Amir Khan doesn't want to fight a physical fight. Amir wants to keep his distance and try not 2 take any punches. Diaz would force him to fight and fight a really fast pace that he can't handle. The other factor is always Amir chin. I'll pick diaz by TKO against Khan at 135 and 140.
