I heard that Juan is walking into the ring at over 150 lbs...I think a more interesting fight is with PBF instead of PAC since they are closer in real size..

Who do you think will win this fight, could Juan give PBF trouble with his workrate?

Juan for his part shouldnt be calling PAC and should be calling on Mayweather because frankly hes closer to him than a former Superbantamweight whos prime and peak was at 122lbs

why?? Diaz is a smart pressure fighter..just as big as Floyd...

First I thought that pressure is the one that will give Floyd trouble, apparently its not...then WTF then???

Why would Juan Diaz call out Floyd? Why would Floyd waste his time by going down to 140 to fight Juan Diaz? Juan Diaz is a good fighter, but he wouldn't stand a chance against Mayweather. Diaz's power is suspect at 135, it would be even more so at 140. Floyd won't just stand in front of Diaz and let him tee off on him like Julio did far too much. This would be dominate win by Mayweather, but there's no way in hell either fighter would entertain the idea of this fight.

nah my man...Juan is good but Floyd would pick him apart....Juan did not show me much defense although he did use a jab every now and then but much of his offense was when Julio just stood and traded...Floyd would tear him a new one plus he would gain some power back at 140.

Effective pressure is the key, not sheer volume like Diaz. Chavez has already tried to fight Floyd like that and we all know what happened there. It simply leaves you to open for his counter punches. I think Diaz would make a real fight of it, but would simply get outboxed by the quicker mayweather.

Then explain to me why Cotto would fair differently, whats the difference??a bit more power but punches a little less than Juan.
About the same size... Dont get me wrong Cottos my 2nd fave fighter.

And yes Cottos got an effectve jab but he doesnt use it often so I dont want to hear the jab

Why not theyre about the same size??? Juan walks in against Julio as much as floyd walked in against DLH. Juan started at 140, he cuts alot

Cotto is technically sharper then Diaz. He is quicker with his punches and combinations also, and most importantly quicker on his feet, which is what he will need to catch Mayweather. Diaz is simply to slow around the ring to ever cut Mayweather off at this point.

Cotto is naturally bigger and stronger. He is a harder puncher too.

I dont know....I think Williams has a FAAAAAAAAR better chance at beating Floyd than anyone else. In fact, I cant think of a scenario where I see Floyd taking it.

Williams is insanely busy, has a tremendous reach, great speed, good power, is a smart fighter, a quick stiff jab, a chin, etc.

Every area of advantage that Floyd holds, would be negated.

But Floyd also aint stupid, this fight will NEVER happen....just for that fact.

Floyd would easily UD Juan Diaz at this point.

Williams is a tougher fight but people need to realise volume punchers see their punch outputs seriously decrease when they face defensive masters.
