I'm extremelly impressed with Guzman, but I don't think he can beat Juan Diaz. Guzman shouldn't have any trouble moving up in weight, especially considering he blows up to 170+ lbs when he's not fighting. I don't think that his speed would diminish that much. He has power, and while it's not spectacular power, it is enough to make anybody at 130 and below honest. Why can't he beat Diaz though? Well, for one, he loves to fight off the ropes, and while Soto had a lot of trouble putting together combinations, Diaz is one of the best fighters right now at putting together combinations. Diaz' handspeed is probably on par with Guzman if Guzman were to move up, and Diaz is a relentless, non-stop punching machine. People point out that nobody has been able to outbox Diaz. This may be true, but that's also because there isn't anybody good enough to do so. Can Guzman? Guzman would probably be the best choice, considering his ability, but I don't think he can stick Juan hard enough to keep him off him, and Juan's relentless attack will eventually, I'll even say inevitably wear Guzman down. And while Soto was frustrated and reverted to brawling with Guzman, despite where his gloves landed, most of which on Guzman's gloves, Diaz is a machine when it comes to combination throwing. He'll throw so many punches so fast, that Guzman won't know what the **** to do with his hands. If he doesn't move, he's ****ed. BUT............. I've bet against Guzman before, and I got ****ed. So what's ya'lls opinion. Personally I think Juan Diaz is underrated as hell on this board. Just imagine if the guy had massive power. He would be as avoided as a prime George Foreman or Roberto Duran.
Where the **** have you been? How many threads of Guzman do we need? This isnt east side running :bart
I hope Diaz does also, but Guzman atsch ............the guy is a runner, great boxer no doubt, but i dont ever wanna pay to watch him, or watch him for free. On second thought, i pay to see him KTFO :good
