jmm showed he can stand pressure when he fought manny pacquiao the 1st time, still I think it would be a very close fight due to juan diaz being bigger....jmm sd

JMM is prone to a KD, and Diaz can pop.

But JMM is perhaps the best pure counter puncher in the game today, and I can see Diaz losing the plot, throwing wild bombs and either being taken out late or losing a comfortable UD.

This is dependent on JMM being able to move up to lightweight and maintain the attributes that make him so good at 130.

 

JMM is too fast ... a natural counter puncher ... and can fight going backwards.

Juan has never faced anyone with the likes of talent like JMM, however JMM has never faced a fighter with the style that JD fights, up in your face for 12 rounds. I choose JMM over diaz as JMM will always make it his fight just like he did to PAC the first fight. The first round was all Pac and after Jmm figured him out he made it his fight for 11 rounds.

 

The uppercuts by JMM will make a big difference in this fight ... I know that I said that Juan Diaz is the best LW in the world, but with this new crop of fighters coming through the division its going to be hard for him to solidify that status.

Hes so featherfisted he can hit a guy with 7 hit combination and they will walk right through it unphased, he could hit them 1000 times in a fight and they would still be standing. Atleast Calzaghe has an excuse for it, he slaps, Juan Diaz is throwing full shots that look strong but seem to have 0 effect. He hurts guys through accumulation, but no way 1 pop power.

Simply put, he will never be able to accumulate enough punches on JMM. JMM, WIDE UD. Virtual shutout.

 

Pacquiao is waaay faster and alot stronger than Diaz and i'm sure that JMM would be able to weather that storm ... I don't know if Diaz has overcome his first pro loss ...
It is true though that Diaz has only seen one kinda fighter ... and he has yet to face a good boxer like JMM who can do it all. Usually Diaz overwhelmed his opponents and either made them quit or made them fold during some moment of the fight ... Marquez has alot of energy and stamina ... he can do it all ...

 

Diaz is nowhere near as explosive, as powerful or as fast as Pacman. JMM handled Pacman's pressure, Im baffled that some here think JMM wont be able to handle Diaz's pressure. JMM & Pac are leagues above the likes of Diaz.

Not like JMM will pull a Freitas and quit, the guy has gotten up from 3 KD's and fought on to win a hard fought draw. His faster, more skilled, equal in stamina, I would say more power than Juan Diaz.

 

marquez wins via decision. juan diaz' workrate would drop once he started getting countered by jmm.

Before Diaz's loss to Campbell, I would have went with Diaz, but now I will go with Marquez by close Decision.
