pac fighting weight was 145 in his last fight while diaz was 142. Pac is taller with longer reach. So, Diaz does not have an advantage in size. That 142 is even the flabby Diaz (less muscle mass), while the 145 Pac is ripped. Diaz however is very conditioned athlete, a never tiring punching machine.

GODDAMIT! that's what i believe too.
before when i saw diaz's fight with suico: suico's head was not snapping. therefore it led me to believe that yeah, indeed juan diaz is clearly feather fisted. you can see it at his resume.
but with his fight with julio, although he did not ko julio immediately from a punch (yep juan did win by a ko but it was stopped), julio's head was snapping back! and that came from 5 or 6 punches combinations in 3 seconds tops! just imagining pac's habit to stop pushing on the fight whenever being tagged clearly just added to my anxiety. this is more worse than my anxieties to jmm's counterpunching mastery!
pac needs a stronger jaw and neck when fighting with baby bull. pac's only trump card is to be slickful: and i believe he can be more slicker than julio. julio was trying to outbox juan and given that julio is decent boxer in his game, juan always succeeded in coming in front on him. juam cut the ring effectively.
remember that juan won 5ko's in his last 7 fights( that fight with freitas where freitas quit is a ko for me regardless) so even when they still say he is featherfisted, he punches in bunches too, and that can inflict serious damage like what he did to his last 7 opponents.
pac must then go toe to toe with him coz juan can cut the ring effectively, and see who's last man standing. or better yet, if pac can learn how to counter effectively. that's the only way for me that pac can win.

That too small & Limited Skills Pac was already too much for 130 lbs HOFamers Barrera & Morales. If Pac's Power & Skills are too much for 130, he''ll Do enough damage to anybody at 135.

I doubt Pacquiao could bring his power and speed at lightweight.
    Diaz wins by UD.

The problem with this is that nearly every world class fighter does this. It's not an advantage or unique thing to Pacquiao.

Cotto has MW in his camp right now. Hamed would bring in JWW when he was at 122 from my understanding. Lots of fighters do this.

There's a reason why Pac Hires a Bigger sparmate now. Remember before the JMM fights??? There's report of Sparring Partners quiitting, "Sparring Partners with broken ribs,, Knockouts day after day in sparring." Pac is much stronger now. He's not Sparring with smaller Vasquez anymore. He's sparring with Bigger top contenders like Sta Cruz & Victor Ortiz.

You never heard tales of Pac got KOed or Schooled in Sparring like Valero did to MAB & EM & also like Spandafora getting the best of PBF.
All you hear is Sparring Partners bragging they spar with Pac & They hang around & stay at their feet.

OK first before you guys say Pac is as good as he is he needs to face YOUNG opposition not old guys. Juan is young he can take any of Pacs punches. Look at the shots he took from Freitas and Freitas has more power than Pac. Pac would have to have immense knockout power since i think thats the ONLY way juan will lose. Even an incredible boxer would have a slim chance of beating Juan since he is coming forward nonstop he is like Pavlik he backs you up with punches in bunches until your tired or just give up because that attack is so intense and even though he is not too hard to hit his chin is very good so thats why it would take a very powerful punch to hurt him. Pac doesnt have that punch. And if you wanna say alot of punches in bunches from Pac will hurt Juan then when Pac throws those "bunches" He will be getting tagged by even faster combinations from Juan which will back PAc up and we all know how he fights going backwards. Like i said before no one in lightweight beats Juan.

Ok......either way, the point is that it's not an advantage that Pacquiao fights larger fighters in sparring. Most fighters seem to do this now. I don't hear about others bragging that they spar with Pacquiao, and I don't know that Pacquiao ever sparred with another champion of the same division, like MAB and PBF did.

Pac is good enough at 130 to make the jump 5 pounds to lightweight and win a tough fight against Diaz, who p4p is not even close to Pac.

Pacquiao is not shifty. Diaz is going to hit him, Pacquiao is going to hit back. But don't fool yourself that Pacquiao has good defense now. He doesn't. His defense is his offense.
