But Suico is a big dude, that's why he wasn't pushed around (ar least not easily) by Diaz and hes size and reach allowed him to connect those hard shots on Diaz. Manny will be in a very big size disadvantage. Also, Manny left his one punch KO power in the 122lbs division. He is now more of an "accumulation of punishment" puncher, but dont get me wrong, he hits hard. So if again, manny can surprise us and be able to bring his power in the lightweight division and a decent speed, I think his punches may bother the Bull, enough to beat the latter by decision
There's almost no way Pac could beat Diaz. Diaz has 10 advantages to Pacquiao's 1 in this fight. People pretty much pointed everything out already. Diaz would back Pacquiao up and anytime Pac would try to land something big to try to change the momentum of the fight and miss, he would go out of position/off balance and Diaz would jump on him, then swarm him with quick combinations. Pacquiao wouldn't be able to fight from the outside and off the back foot, so his only chance is on the inside.. but on the inside Diaz would tear him up. I would be very surprised if Pac lasted 12 rounds. He's the type of fighter that would give all he has in a desperate situation where he needs a KO to win and after being broken down by Diaz in the first half of the fight, he would most likely get stopped in the second half. Freddie Roach stopping the fight is a realistic possibility too. If I was Arum I would even rather see Pac go up against Hatton instead of Diaz. But whatever way you look at Pac, misfortune is in his future. If he gets by JMM, Guzman is at 130 and would own him there. At 135 Diaz would stop him. At 140 Hatton would stop him. He wants the big fights, but he would get destroyed by every big name left. Diaz is clearly A level and is the best at 135 by far. The only threat to him is Guzman moving up from 130, but even I can see how tough of a fight that is for Guzman. It's a close fight that I would favor Guzman in (60/40), but Diaz would give him big problems with his combination of workrate/stamina/speed and relentless style. Guzman would outbox him, but for how much of the round? It would be a matter of how much Guzman could work to just do enough to win rounds. Stamina would be a huge problem for him against Diaz. But imagine if Guzman won.. that would be a victory of big, big proportions, especially for a guy that started at 122.
Thats what every Diaz opponent is supposed to do. Stay on the outside. It doesnt work because Diaz has probably the best stamina in boxing right now and he just glues himself to your chest. Another thing is you know that Diaz is gonna get in Pacs face and land some good shots. Pac will try to respond and they will trade which is very bad for Pac. Come on guys Pac is not a boxer and like i have said before about Diaz. He is almost unbeatable around this weight classes. Its either gonna take a very talented boxer with great stamina, long stiff jab, and excellent footwork. Must be able to work off the back foot. Or an extremely powerful puncher. One who is gonna fight well on the inside and have incredible KO power.
Diaz hasn't faced anyone with the footspeed of Pacquiao and that will be his undoing. Diaz will not be able to effectively swarm Pacquiao because his movement is not fast enough. The style that troubles Pacquiao is the defensive minded counterpuncher. Who can stand infront of Pacquiao when he lunges in and block or dodge his punches and then counter with his own. That is the blueprint to beat pacquiao. Swarming in with little regard to defence and average explosiveness is a sure-fire way to get your ass handed to you. The only chance that Juan Diaz has is if Pacquiao doesn't fill in well at 135, which is why he should fight David Diaz first.
Diaz is kinda overrated. He ducks the two best lightweight in Chico & Castillo when he have a chance to unify. Where did Juan get his unification??? From Sim??? Who's that guy. From Freitas??? Koed by Chico. From Julio?? Koed by Castillo. That's the big question. Why he didn't ask for Chico & Castillo during their reign??? I don't think Juan is Confident enough to beat those guys. He even openly says he don't want Casamayor. Now He keeps on calling Pac. Why not go for the bigger money fight like Hatton??? Pac already openly calling much bigger & Much stiffer competition all the time. He already said he wants Hatton, DLH or PBF. How come he can confidently say that??? Because Pac is a No Fear guy. He's too strong for his own weight class. That's not the same case for Diaz. Pac by TKO.
If Pacquiao beat D.Diaz convincingly, I don't see any point of someone not believing Pacquiao couldn't take J.Diaz.
Yep. I don't give the edge in stamina to Diaz. I don't give it to Pac either though; its a wash. And quite honestly I think Pac would hit harder than Diaz too. If this goes into a war (which I think it obviously does) then I see Pac coming out on top.....war is what he does :yep . People keep saying that Diaz has "strong but not powerful punches". WTF? I'll be honest, I give his power a C- grade. Theres not much behind those punches guys, just admit it already instead of going around it. I hate to harp on the guy cause I love him, but I have to get my point across too. I can see this fight turning into a brawl though, and Pacs quick and more powerful punches are going to hurt Diaz like he has never been hurt before. They both also have excellent mental strength, so neither guy will quit, but Pacs more consistent punching will overcome Diazs' feather flurries imo. After Diaz unloads Pac will jump all over him (if he already hasn't uppercutted the hell of out him). The plodding style of Diaz fits into a guy like Pacs style pretty well --- although I will admit that Diazs' style is harsh for Pac too, but only to a certain extent. Diaz has also never had a chin-check yet. Maybe its because his chin is granite....who knows but I still think Pac will at least stun the guy a few times. This isn't my official prediction as things can change before a fight like this is made, but I favor Pac for now in this one.
Pac beats Diaz because he's not afraid of calling out PBF and DLH? Nice analysis as usual. Pac would be destroyed.. you would not want to see this fight happen.
juan diaz faced washed up freitas. he is overrated :good what else is new.. huki, assasin, brooklyn same character saying pac will loss again :rofl :rofl :rofl this will be bet of a lifetime. how about lifetime ban guys
Time off/ban bets are pointless with dellusional Pac fans. I want to see you guys admitting that you were blindly nuthugging him after he loses, not hiding forever in Pacland crying your eyes out.
