Pac body is rippling with muscles. Whatever added to his weight is not fat but muscles. I dont think it's from drinking beer but from improved nutrition. While Juan Diaz is heavier mostly because of fat. I think if you remove those fatty tissues they will weigh almost the same.
Pac will lose this one, perhaps be stopped, but this will still be an interesting, exciting fight. I'd love to see this one in the future.
like i said before, pac now comes in at 145 during fights. juan diaz weighed 142 during his last fight. seems to me that pac is even bigger @130 than juan diaz is now @135. so, the argument that the baby bull is much bigger and stronger than pac doesn't hold water. i just want to know how 135-lb boxers will respond to pac's punching power. if erik morales was able to KD d. diaz in their fight, this augers very well for pac's power @135.
It's not so much being wrong, it's just that Pac has done so much since this thread was made. Every fight can change the way a fighter is seen.
It is amazing looking back on the first couple of posts who all had Diaz UD or SD against Pacquiao. Manny has really shown since then why he is the worlds best fighter.
Hindsight is a beautiful thing. Who knew that a year later if these too met we'd be saying that Pacquiao is too big for Juan Diaz and the latter should have never moved up from 135?
