Both fighters are throw backs. how many boxers in the modern era take on great challenges after a defeat?

All due respect, but thats like asking during a war if any bullets are going to be fired

Both will be going forward. Diaz will try a smother kat and kat will want his distance to land his bombs

    Good point.
Also Diaz uses angles very, very well and will be shifting sides as he usually does mid combo:good

I'm abit surprised too even with Cotto-Margo this sat, thats all everything has been about, Cotto-Margo, Cotto-Margo this, Cotto-Margo that, don't get me wrong I'm excited as hell but a wee bit drowned out by the vast number of threads about em on here

And your right this fight is a definite throwback and may be more exciting and last even longer than Cotto-Margo

I pick Kats on the basis that Juan can be beaten in his own game.

It's not like asking if any bullets'll be fired in a war at all. Obviously they are both come-forward fighters, but it doesn't mean they'll be walking into grapples all evening. Someone will back up at some stage. I think Kat will back Juan up, but Juan is skilled enough so who knows

katsidis is tough and i don't think he'll quit just like how diaz made freitas and julio diaz quit. He's likely to be stop due to cuts. He cuts like a baby, even czar amonsot was giving him a hard time

I've seen very few do a better job of standing in the center of the ring and sluggin' it out with someone. Gotta go with The Baby Bull.

Diaz will win this... there's no doubt in my mind. I see a late TKO win, either by cuts or a corner stoppage.

It's a complete mismatch. Katsidis is going to get massacred.. Diaz KO in the mid-rounds.

It won't even be enjoyable to watch because of how one sided it will be. It's not like a Soto-Karass/Estrada fight where the fighters are on the same level and will be going toe to toe the entire fight, exchanging punches and connecting at around the same rate. It's a fight between a kamikaze fighter with a shaky chin and horrible skin who's barely B- level and a B+ pressure fighter who throws punches nonstop and has an iron chin. Anyone who thinks Katsidis has any kind of chance is either Australian, Greek, or nuts.
