You make some interesting points however I think Katz getting stopped on cuts is more likely than Diaz being KOd. Stamina I think goes to Diaz as does defense.
I can't wait for this fight!!!

Man I'm all hyped up about this one, hope Mick pulls it off,cuz he needs the win bigtime not to be cut off the title picture at 135.Too bad the promoting isn't good,no pressers,no internet videos,I mean Vargas vs Mayorga had massive hype just cuz of pressers

Very tough one to call. Both fighters are very tenacious and rarely take any back steps. Both stay very busy but Juan does a better job of controlling his aggression and not leaving himself too open too often. Katsidis possesses more power but I don't really think his power will make much of a difference. I believe the fight is only a 10 round bout which could be key if Katsidis sustains any cuts as he usually does. I guess I'm leaning towards Diaz by SD but a draw is probably the safest prediction.

Either way I win because I'm a fan of both guys and it's gonna be a war. :bbb

Oh and I am part of the Pac fighting the winner campagne. :bbb

    12 rounds it is:good
For me this fight is a classic case of a fighter with too much heart and will and not enough skill (Katz)getting handed a beatdown by a fighter with as much heart and will but even more skill(Diaz)
Watch the Julio Diaz fight again with Juan using tight circles and angles, he doesnt just come straightforward you know:yep

Well if you remember the Rico Hoye fight mate Teddy Atlas said "Sometimes you have to lose in order to win" So who knows man both just lost in big fights, so anythings possible, but I think Diazs skill and chin pull him through

I wanna see if Mick has worked on his skills in training but even if he did I don't expect much improvment cuz you are either born with skills or not.Still Mick is gonna win this FOTY for sure

i would like to see diaz lose due to the all out style of katsidas and diaz doesnt have a big punch but i cant see katsidas taking shot after shot he leaves himself way to open..but it is going to be a slugfest and FOTY candidate i say diaz but UD

Well thunder one thing is for sure it will be a great fight and a victory is far from a sure thing for either fighter:deal Its in Juans hometown and it's close to a sellout.
Only a few more weeks bro:good

I think this fight is going to be great while it lasts. I really think though that Katsidis is going to out last Diaz. I think that he hits too hard and that Juan does not hit hard enough to dissuade him.

    Katsidis tko9 Diaz

If Diaz works the body early and often, he'll win

That sort of logic never works.

Diaz was beaten by Campbell, who was beaten by Peden (twice), who was ko'd by Ganoy, who was destroyed by Katsidis.

Does that point to an easy Katsidis victory?????
