Aussie too, but I think Katsidis's has a very tough night ahead.

I think he's jumped up in competition one or two fights too early.

Amonsot and Earl are solid but unspectacular opponents and both gave Kats trouble at various times. Diaz is top tier. Katsidis's is going to have to bring his A game and hurt Diaz early.

I think it will be brutal and finish early.

Katsidis is not significantly prone to cuts! The Amonsot fight is the first time in his career he's been cut up!!

But you're right about his "propensity to block punches with his head"! He has a false sense of security that makes him fearless and thus vulnerable. He doesn't have any defence because he's never needed it before. He better find some for this fight or it won't be pretty!

Don't rejoice yet. Don King's threatening to stop this fight from happening. Check, boxtalk.

Nothing new there! King has never wanted this fight to happen and I don't think he expected Katsidis to take the 20/80 split! That's backfired and now he's looking for other ways out of this mandatory!!!

    Bring it on.

Katsidis will do better than many here expect.

To whomever pointed out what Khan did to Earl last weekend - That was AFTER Katsidis near ruined him....

diaz by stoppage the ref will call the doctor in and say hey you have been cut too much . they will let it go another round. diaz goes back to work and with blood in his eyes katsidis cant see a thing and is punished until the corner throws the towel in.

    the end
another win for the part time boxer full time student.

I think if Katsidis can back him up he is every chance to win this fight. No matter what happens Juan will be made to earn his money, bank on that.

Kat a step down from Julio? He's far ess polished for certain but he certainly has the winning tools to be considered on par with Julio or above IMO.

I wouldn't be so sure of a guaranteed Diaz win here. Of course, I said that in his last two fights, but he's gotta lose sooner or later...:yep
