I think katsidis should beat up a few more b grade fighters to get the hype really flowing and sharpen his skills before facing one of the top dogs..

I dont wanna see another aussie fighter get thrown to the lions early...

Seems to happen to our good domestic fighters.

 

tough fight as both guys like to come forward. Don't think I've seen either guy get backed up before. Both guys have a great work rate with Diaz have the speed advantage and Rocky the power advantage. If it goes beyond 6 you would have to favour Diaz but Katsidis could land something early especially with Juan coming forward.

 

yeah great fight but man baby bull can box and bang. i agree with carlton first 4 rounds would b mikes and he could bomb him on the way in big time. but no way hes ready yet.

 

Yeah good point, i'd like to see him whack a few second string ****s b4 taking on the top dogs as well.........btw how old is Mike again?

Lets hope he has a good manager in Brendon Smith to arrange the appropiate opponent for Michael when the time comes :thumbsup and is not put under pressure from any ill advising outsiders :bart

 

Katsidis is a real warrior but a fight with Diaz is asking too much,at this point in time anyway...

 

Diaz's body attack would cause Kat alot of trouble :yikes

 

Mike should fight boxers who are ranked outside the top 5 in the divison maybe ranked 10-15 guys.2-3 fights against that kind of calibre and if he wins and wins convincingly then he should go ahead and take the big guns on.

To be honest fellas mike has only been on the scene(world stage)for like 5minutes and suddenly opponents names being thrown up to face him are the likes of pacman etc who are proven realdeal p4pounders.

He is only 27 and minus the bad cuts he should still be very fresh so if managed right and trained properly i think late 08 early 09 is when mike should make his mark on the BIG STAGE against the BIG GUNS.

Money and hype can warp fighters leading them into trouble.I just hope mike doesnt buy into it.

Late 08-early 09 after a few good wins against harden contenders is the key..

 

I don't think Katsidis is ready to fight Juan Diaz, he needs a couple of tough tune up matches to prepare him for such an epic battle. Not saying that he can't, just not right now.

 

Id like to see katsidis with julio diaz or nate campbell.
