if pacquiao wins this one, it would be another pacquiao-barrera where almost everbody does not give him a chance to win. it will greatly improve his legacy if he beats juan diaz at 135. a live underdog he is.

Its a no lose situation, trust me the media will position PAC as a lighter weight underdog moving up...

Hed have a legitimate built in excuse...the expectation for PAc in this fight is for a good showing..and the whole world will know "Ohh PAC shouldnt even be fighting Diaz its unfair" trust me its a no lose situation

I'm not asking him to, no one else is either. Pacman said he may move up there...so thats on him.

I do think Pacman is one of the best 122lb fighters ever.

i think fighting at 132 will be much fair than if this fight happens at 135. baby bull is definitely the bigger fighter having started his career at 140 while pac started all the way from 106. maybe j. diaz should even make 130 lbs. for this fight.

:good You know I seriously rewatched some fights when you mentioned this...I mean..he was a freaking animal..I mean he just raped everyone at this weight. The funny thing is HBO for example hyped him up so much because they saw him at this weight. He really did get slower and less powerful as he moved up and HBO in an ironic twist was actually overrating PAC now at 130

I wonder how Barrera DIDN'T know who Pacman was when he was coming up from 122? I knew who he was, but not how good. But I wasn't about to fight him either:lol:

I dont know why? ****ing Lampley and Merchant was all over PACS balls at the time... but to be fair..everyone who saw him fight was attched to his scrotum instantly. I think MAB really underestimated him...But man come to think of it PAC was fed as fodder to alot of very good fighters at the time and PAC came out shocking the world each time out in just the way he beat them.

Top 30 for beating Diaz sounds about right. He would have arguably beaten "the man" at a weight class 30lbs north of what he started at. Bare in mind he was champ at 112, its equivalent to Armstrong doing LW to MW with the 25lb difference in the 3 weights.

Early on, I always pick the Baby Bull, but after seeing Pac getting comfortable at 130 lately and weighing at a fit 140-144lbs at fight night, I say this is going to be a toss-up. PAc is still quick, and I like the fact that his power at 135 will be underrated.

But before it happens, which should be, Pac should settle his unfinished business with JMM and others like Guzman, Soto and Valero.

iv'e got to be honest with you fellas, and this only comes once in a millenium:
out of all the boxers i saw i actually think that juan diaz is the most riskable fighter for pac!
his speed got my jaws dropped, unleashing 5 combinations, making his opponent julio: a good boxer: surrender in a championship fight.
b4 i thought he is fast but featherfisted; but now he actually have crisps in his shots: and he made julio's face red and his eyes swollen.
if this is the first time that i actually have to side with other fighters than pac in a mtach up well this is it.
you may say that i'm just exagerrating or stuff but i actually shook my head watching him in the bout with julio and said: man< pac will have a hard time with this guy.
in jmm i gave pac a chance but for julio i may have to side with baby bull.
julio got my vote, sorry idol. :-((
