Just reported on FNF that Diaz's opponent will indeed be Malignaggi. They didn't say what weight, but I assume 140.

So what do you guys think? Does Paulie have a chance of keeping Diaz off of him?

No this is the main event. It's gonna be in Diaz's hometown, Houston..

Malignaggi has been removed from the Juanma card altogether after Alvarado withdrew..

Malignaggi is finished. This will be a mismatch. Diaz was winning rounds against JMM for christ's sakes. Diaz isn't elite, but he's leagues ahead of Paulie.

For one: Miley Cyrus can hit harder than Malignaggi.

hell no, Paulie is a dead man walking, especially if he fights like he did against Hatton.

If he throws some right hands and moves laterally he has......well he still has no chance.

I don't think Paulie will be able to keep Diaz off of him. Juan will walk through Paulie's punches and do serious damage.

Props to both guys for taking the fight.

Paulie's so scared of breaking his right hand, you can just walk through his garbagy jabs and beat the crap out of him.

No right hand = you get destroyed unless your Ivan Calderon.

what is up with some fans?....Paulie only lost to 2 great world class fighters, and all of a sudden juan diaz of all people is going to take him to the cleaners?.....It will be a replay of the marquez fight except without a KO, paulie will get hit early, but paulie has a solid chin......Paulie wins this 115-113 or 116-112....Paulie is extremely underrated, superb ring technician.

If Juan Diaz fights the way he fought JMM minus the KO he will win a clear UD.

jaun diaz is a gate keeper at lightweight.....nothing more......paulie is a warrior, and imo one of the smartest fighters out there, if juan diaz brings that stamina he had againts marquez against paulie, paulie will out box this little fat kid.....this is a mis-match in paulie's favor, jaun diaz is not the great pressure fighter like hatton is.
