Juan Diaz vs. Ricky Hatton

First off I don't think that their styles are all that similar. They both come forward but Ricky throws hard shots and grabs a lot on the inside wheras diaz just looks to put gloves on his opponent and I don't think I have ever seen him clinch. When he is on the inside he simply lets his hands go.

That being said I think that Ricky wins this one. He is too big and strong for Diaz, plus Diaz does not have the power to phase him. Also Diaz would not be able to fire off those 6 punch combos when Ricky clinches him.

 

Hatton's strength, speed and experience would be to much at this point of time for Juan.
