How I see it. And it's not like Rios is so far up the ladder that a fight w/ Diaz is a bad one. :deal

Juan Diaz has retired and if he wants to come back to get KO that's up to him. He had a very good career and was entertaining but to say that Rios is ducking him is pure bull****!! Rios will duck fighters soon bc he is looking for bigger established names but that's part of the game and so far he did everything that has been asked from him.

    Exactly!

I thought Diaz has/was retiring. It would be a good fight but I think Diaz is done while Rios on the other hand is getting better. Arum is in the works with Katsidis/Rios fight which will be a WAR too if it happens!

I thought Diaz retired to pursue his Law studies/career ?

If Rios is as good as everyone is saying, Kats should not be fighting him, hes done.

I'd like to see Diaz in a warm up fight first before he steps into the ring with a big dog like Rios. He needs a fight to shake off the ring rust.

Nope resurrected by a troll that wants to make Rios look as bad as possible because he can't handle the thought of him knocking the **** out of Soto.

Not being a dick but who gives a **** what Juan Diaz wants? When was the last time he won a fight, I mean he got beat by JMM twice, cheated Paulie M., then got his ass stomped by Paulie M...has he had a fight since? Don't get me wrong, I like Diaz fine, and the first JMM fight was awesome, but what he "wants" versus what he has earned/deserves are two different things, furthermore Rios beats the dog **** out of him.

Soto would decapitate Rios very easily.
When Rios moves up to 140lbs, Soto will be more than happy to KO him there.
Right now Soto had to vacate his WBC 135lbs belt, cause his next mandatory defense is against #1 ranked contender-Antonio DeMarco, whom happens to be Soto's very own Cousin.
and also, because Top rank/ZANFER owed Soto more than $1 Million,. so he's in contract dispute, so he left them.
If Soto would've rematched Antillon, it wouldve extended his promotional contact with the ones that have been ripping him off in the last year.

    **

As far as Rios, the funny thing about Rios is that he says he'll fight anyone at 135lbs, yet he ducked Juan Diaz, JOhn Murray, and so many others.

Rios likes to "talk the talk", but wont "walk the walk".

Its absurd that Rios is waiting for the batlle-worned Katidis to fight next month, before Rios can fight a not-fully-rested Katsidis afterwards, when they'res a bunch of other big names that are calling out Rios, and Rios ignores them.

So, becasue Diaz lost, he should not fight Rios
but its OK for Katsidis to fight Rios, despite katsidis losing his last 2 fights, 1 by KO.:patsch

Even a PRIME Diaz gets KO'd by Rios.

If the current Diaz had fought Rios, it would have been over within 3.

No I agree that he shouldn't fight Kats, but I don't see the logic in bitching about one **** fight (Kats) but steadily begging for another **** fight (Diaz), bottom line they both get ****ed up so he's really doing Diaz a favor, but it's essentially irrelevant because the outcome is the same...Rios by ass ****.
