rios knocks him out in 6 or less.

Linares would be the best opponent.

Linares fights similar to chicanito without the chin.

John Murray will be erased from the equation after this weekend.

It shows how much you know about boxing.......

Diaz is an aggressor, and JMM is a counterpuncher.

Juan Diaz is also imo a couple of notches above Rios in the fine art called infighting.

While Rios walks straight in, Juan Diaz while punching moves to the laterals. Diaz does'nt just stand right there at the line......which is why he took apart fighters like Acelino Freitas who btw was much stronger and powerful than Juan Diaz.

Diaz it looks like is retired, but I'll go on record right now and say that if a Rios-Diaz fight were to be made this year, I'd pick Juan Diaz to stop Brandon Rios late on cuts.

Juan Diaz imo would land at will on the inside on Brandon Rios, and would move and angle to the side enough to reduce and nullify Rios' punching power.

Would love to see this fight, its a pick-em type fight imo.

Rios never responded to Juan Diaz's many challenges.

I think Rios was scared of fighting Juan Diaz.

Rios just likes to talk "tough" but wont back up his words in the ring, unless its a safe opponent that he knows wont hurt him.

well, Murray did lose, but he's still a worthy challenge.

Diaz is retired and it is a good thing because I like Diaz and Rios would really hurt him.

I guess you forgot Diaz was outpointd, out fought by Nate Campbell at 135 pounds when Diaz was undefeated? lol. Nampbell was bullying Diaz and was beating Diaz in the outside and inside. If Campbell who was 36 i think can do that then imagine what Rios a younger power puncher can do to a retired Diaz? You need to think long and hard man for real. Diaz would get murder by Rios.

Lmfao @ Rios is scared of a retired Diaz. Stfu you bandwagon piece of sh4t Soto fan. Diaz is retired. If he comes back and face Rios, i would bet all my money that Diaz would get destroyed by a hungry prime puncher in Rios.

Campbell did that to Diaz with his ring smarts and technical abilities. I think Rios wins, but Rios vs. Diaz would be completely different.

You need to think long and hard about style matchups.

Campbell was mostly brawling with Diaz and fought Diaz fight. It was basically a slugfest in which Campbell won. Campbell was in Diaz face wouldn't let Diaz breath. Rios is a very good inside fighter but imo Rios got the better pop and is just as tough as Campbell. Rios would rough Diaz up badly and finish Diaz off in the mid rounds.

    :lol::lol:

Cambell did it with EPO Steroids/Hormones for that fight.

Diaz complained that Nate was on "the juice".

I wouldn't necessarily call that brawling Ray. That was Campbell out working and out fighting him. But I agree on the outcome. I'd still like to see this. Be good for how long it would last.

Honestly if this fight would be made next for Rios it would a massacre at this point. I mean that bc Diaz has not been in the ring for a year and to get back in shape and fight a hungry agressive young fighter like Rios is just not right. Prime Diaz would be a different story but he's past it. It might not be for long but it's Rios time now!

It was before the Campbell fight he called him out. After his impressive win over Julio Diaz. Baby Bull has retired now but had he stayed at lightweight his past few results would have been better. Some fighters just cant move up in weight and perform and Diaz was one of them.

I really wish this thread was never revived. It's impossible to vote for either option in that poll because Diaz is retired... And it's ****ing stupid to talk about what would happen in a match now... because he's ****ing RETIRED.
