Juan will impose his will on JMM this coming Sunday, Feb. 28. He may have lost to Campbell but I have this feeling that he will prevail against Marquez. He's younger and faster. Your thoughts, please.
In my judgement, JD will have an advantage if JMM chooses to fight inside...its a crucial fight for the two fighters...Diaz needs to win this fight to get him on top again. And Marquez cannot afford to lose this fight or his next bouts or he loses his chance for a 3rd fight with Manny.
im not so sure diaz is quicker than marquez. im leaning towards marquz in this fight by a ud of around 115-113 or 116-112. thinking JMM will stay on the outside and catch JD coming in with hooks to the body or straight rights upstairs.
JD is a intense pressure fighter. He has fast handspeed to the head and body. He will counter JMM's counterpunching. Besides, JMM has weak chin and may go down in the same fashion as he did in Pacman (4x) and Barrera (1x) fights.
JMM never gets demolished. In fact in reality he probally has only lost 1 fight in his carrer when scored properly.
JD is a much bigger opponent..i doubt if JMM body can withstand JD pressure and we all know that JMM's chin is suspect..
Not against Juan Diaz who has average power at best JMM never KO'd in 54 fights. Besides Pacquiao and the perfect shot from Barrera where he let his guard down going for the KO he has never been down. JMM has a very good chin
look, diaz is not presenting anything new against jmm. everything diaz does, pac does better. i know boxing is all about match=ups and what not but what does diaz have that pac does not do better? pac throws more, is faster, and hits waaay harder than diaz and jmm's performance against pac speaks for itself. on the other hand, diaz has never faced anybody of jmm's capability. jmm by wide ud, but if diaz gets frustrated by getting hit all night, he get knocked out late. list that down
We are thinking on the same line, amigo. JMM almost lost to game ancient Casa until he got careless and lost by KO. Definitely, JD is no Casa. But my props to JMM for taking this fight. He's gone a long way from the whining expedition to the Philippines begging for a fight.
