Between these 2 Argentinian battlers of 160 how do you see this one go down?

    I'd have to favor Lausse.

Speaking of the man, I need to do some editing and put two separate clips of Eduardo against Fullmer in nice quality. Shame it takes several hours with this old hog of a PC.

Same here - he was more skilled & had better actual wins, whereas Roldan is mainly remembered today for his performances in fights that he lost.

Roldan was a tough and durable, rough and tumble kind of fighter from everything I've seen. Not much nuance, but a lot of sheer physical horsepower so to speak.

On the flip side, I see real art when I watch Lausse fight He has some fantastic defensive moves going at almost all times and can whack like a mule with both hands. Well conditioned too.

Lausse's career was quite disappointing after the Fullmer fight put him on the map, but he still fought more regularly against good opp (and had more good/solid wins) than Roldan. As Russell says, he had better skills and threw more tight punches too, while Roldan was more the Sung-Kil Moon type of big puncher...he could squeeze in some really unorthodox, angular punches, but they were all loaded up and telegraphed. so I'd have to favour lausse in a shootout, but he showed enough vulnerabilty himself for it not to be a fight I'd be putting much money on.

Bump means to bring an older message back to the top of a conversation

It's eloquently explained in this song:
