Holy **** you guys saw alexander and maidana at 147.... It kind of looked like that marquez pacquiao fight at 147 minus the hunging, Alexander whooping and countering on Maidana and his his ineffective aggression... **** reminded somewhat of Marquez countering and whooping on Pacquiao with his innefective aggresion.. then add the fact that after the fight onfreddy showed a clip where marquez landed a crazy counter to PAC's head that made his hair fly like dragon ball Z, Freddy Exhales a big breath of air, and bows his head down in shame.. It was EPIC, sort of the epicness of Marquez at 147 whooping on the Best version of PAcquiao, the Best camp EVER, this time ITS PERSONAL, manny must be forced to leave the gym, there is so much motivation THis will not go Past 4....LOLZ and marquez is a featherweight whooping on a WW, it makes you really look at how much balls and how special marquez is... while PAC is running scared of Mayweather the Special marquez is 1-1 at WW... Damn man Marquez is a special dude deal:good Mad RESPEK yo
I agree with ya dog. I came away watching a fight with 2 guys last night who never fought Marquez and thinking how great Marquez is.
JMM had the balls to fight the two PFP best fighters while the same two continue to duck each other. JMM is a special fighter.:deal
Wait a minute wait a minute Doc. Did you not here what Freddie said in his last episode? "That was'nt the real Manny in there. He was zoned out and not concentrated on the fight." ....yeah, this one here. The one he was so focused for throughout the whole training camp that had to drag him out of the gym. Man, everytime Roach opens his mouth I have less and less respect for him. I just shrugged my head and shoulders when Roach near the end was having words for Pacquiao trying to convince themselves they had done enough to win and Freddie say's, "Marquez is a good fighter though." They were full of excuses, but all that Freddie could admit to Pacquiao on camera and it was the only extent in crediting Marquez was, "he's a good fighter." Newsflash to Freddie, Marquez is more than just a good fighter. He's a great fighter that took your prize pupil and put him through a thorough boxing lesson.:yep
:rofl So many excuses its sickening.. -another memorable excerpt Onfreddy from the night Marquez whooped on PACQIAO and took his soul. pacquiao: Freddy my cramps really affected me tonight. Roach: **shrugs shoulders **Marquez, He's a tough guy, He's tough.... Pacquiao: I know but hmmm, uhhh its just... Roach: ***looks at camera looks around,*** (sensing PAC is distress and shame mode) it was a close fight you won, you definitely won, you landed the bigger shots, the combinations, you won... -cuts out HBO knows exactly what they are inferring they show it the whole fight, PAc did not deserve the win, nor did they believe they won.
If Marquez was in his prime Pacman could at least have that excuse. But Jmm was 38! So this isn't like Norton-Ali or Forrest-Mosley where one just has the other ones number Pacman wanted to take advantage of Jmms advanced age. But **** backfired in his face and he got served!
Exactly, even the people at HBO seem to know Marquez won that. I dont see how people can say that wasnt a robbery.
The only problem was that Alexander came to knock Maidana head off and not leaving it to the hands of the judge. He didn't run like coward Mosley. Marquez didn't do that.
Not only do they not believe they won, they know it. Not a single member of team Pacquiao (of which there are many) had the audacity to celebrate and be jubial about Pacquiao getting the decision. It speaks volumes that many in Pacquiao's group of hangers on, were seen to have been saying the fight should have been a draw. When your core group of hanger on's start voicing they viewed it as a draw, that pretty much sums it up right there. The other side was sick of the decision, but none the less had their heads held high celebrating and proud of the perfomance Marquez turned in. On a side note. I think it speaks of Nacho Beristain's character and the love and respect he shows for Pacquiao that he would walk into Pacquiao's dressing room right before the fight (as a favor to two individuals back in Mexico) and attempt to see Pacquiao and ask him to sign a boxing glove and a magazine. Roach said he's never had the opposite side ask his fighter for an autograph. The fact that Nacho did that, speaks to his love of the sport for him that goes well beyond "I'm only here to get inside your head and beat you down." Nacho is graceful with team Pacquiao, but on the flipside when Nacho leaves, he's on camera saying "Nacho can go **** himself." You want to talk about character, you can compare and contrast the comportment of those two trainers in the public eye.
With all the bull**** excuses they have been coming out with after the fight, it sure as **** doesn't seem like it. :deal The fact still remains, Marquez, who isnt close to being a natural welterweight, showed the real welterweights how the **** its done, when it comes to fighting Pacquiao. :deal :deal
Marquez is a legend in his own right. It doesn't matter if he did won or lost, he should just let the Pac debacle slide and make the legacy of his own much bigger than it is now. Multiple division world champion and has a chance to add more plus add more names to his resume. Why not move on that path. He has Pac's number, that's more than anyone can say.
