Everybody knew Juan Francisco Estrada is good, but nobody knew he was Perfect, he reversed 2 losses and is now favored to defeat Roman Gonzalez if they ever rematch. It didn't come easy Estrada fought as high as Junior Feather, but he skipped meals and everything else and started condensing his neurons into a tight 108 & 112lbs perfect form.

    • Roman Gonzalez fought as low as 103lbs early on & faded as he inflated.
    • Naoya Inoue conveniently didn't fight Roman Gonzalez or Juan Francisco Estrada.

If team Inoue knew they can beat Estrada they would have picked that easy win, instead of leaping from 108 directly into old Narvaez 115.

Nobody skips the legacy of 112 for 115, unless they have to do so

I'm not saying it would be easy but I think he's got him beat... Inoue is just too good.. An extra year or two for gonzalez, ssr and estrada to lose a step doesn't hurt either

They treat Inoue like a god here so everyone is going to pick him, but in reality is a 50/50 fight.

Gods don't exist, monsters do. I favor the monster over Estrada, but think it will be his biggest task to date.
Moloney will get trashed by Naoya.

Inoue KOs Gonzalez, Estrada, and Rungvisai.

His team has long said that as soon as it was a chore to make weight, they'd move up immediately. Dropping 3 pounds is much harder than going up 3 pounds. If Estrada wants thats smoke, he can go up to 118.

I didnt like the estrada that I saw at the beginning of the fight vs cuadras II. In fact cuadras put his ass on the ground.

It was said here before the fight, that cuadras has already peaked, and that the cuadras we saw las week is worse than the cuadras who fought estrada vs cuadras I.

I like estrada, I think he's one of the best. But he has probably peaked too, or is peaking now.

If estrada starts the fight vs inoue the same way he started vs cuadras II..... nothing good will happen to him.

With both Inoue and Estrada (and Gonzalez) starting very low, I think a showdown at 116 lbs. would be quite fair as far as weight goes, and skill level insane. Bring it on!

In Estrada's defense he hadn't fought in over a year and had Covid. Plus it was the first time he was dropped in 9 years.

I think it would have been a slight favour for estrada if inoue didnt skip 112. Estrada was amazing at the weight and inoue has holes in his d as the donaire fight showed and one that estrada would have capitalized on. X factor would be estrada's chin which is solid by btw but tbf inoue was taking a longer time to knock guys out even in 115 and that may just increase estrada's chances. Right now im leaning towards inoue

Who KO'd Donaire? Only Walters when Donaire was competing in a division too high for him. Donaire is a very durable guy and was much bigger than Inoue on fight night.

And Inoue fought from the second round on with a broken eye socket and was seeing double. Had he not had the misfortune of that happening, he probably would have stopped Donaire.

Inoue KOs Estrada if Gallo ever has the sack to move up and challenge him.
