    Carroll seems to be severely lacking in power compared to Valenzuela but he’s boxing much better than the first round

    This is a weird performance from Carroll. He is trying to "box". He's a come forward aggressor that throws alot of punches - ordinarily. Its as if he's using this fight to try to expand his skills. Skills he really doesnt have. He needs to make his career just outworking guys. This style wont work against real fighters.

    I guess I can understand Carroll tinkering with some things in this fight. Even tho he's fighting a mexican in Mexico Carroll is the "house fighter" on a Hearn promoted card.

    So was Brandon Rios though to be fair lol judges in Mexico don’t give a **** about protecting you if you’re a foreign A-side fighter

    They're going to war, Jono rocked, but fights back well, then outworks him for the rest of the round, then Jono gets hurt with a body shot, then comes back and outworks him some more.
