sure, but it's it's a pain and if i wanna watch on an equally appropriate tv i gotta change rooms and log in 14 times and change my password and 342 other hoops to jump through , besides that, wtf?

Point being, if it works fine on another device on your same internet connection, the problem may be your Xbox. Or perhaps their Xbox app! No idea.
