Meh fight. Not sure why he's not going after Ancajas or Nietes and wasting his time with scrubs.

Or go for a rematch with Chocolatito. That's the fight I want to see. Even a trilogy with Wangek. All that talent at that weight. Why are these guys fighting scrubs? They should be having a round robbin and make this the age of the super flyweights.

I think it’s to build his profile with a homecoming fight in Mexico. I think Matchroom are trying to build their events and have seen that they can create a buzz in Mexico the way they do in the UK. They will likely give Yafai one more fight in the US probably the next LA show to build him before they do a unification between the two in Mexico later this year or next year.

Yeah a rematch with Chocolatito is what I want to see as well. He has a chance to avenge that loss and he would be able to have avenge all his defeats. Don't see the point of this fight.

Apparently Hearn wants to make Estrada vs Yafai by the end of the year.

Dude, Roman would get savagely beaten down at this point.

As much as Keith Thurman. He came back from his first loss and destroyed highly rated Moises Fuentes in September. Why would he quit when it looked like he hadn't lost a step? He's probably not fighting because of some management/promoter/training issue. It might even be that he wants big fights but has lost a lot of his bargaining power and is being put on the shelf.

He lost one fight. It happens to literally everybody. He came back in top form. I thought he should have rematched Wangek and taken back the belts. Pacquiao got slept by Marquez and he's still fighting.

Pacquiao is cut from a rare cloth... Let's hope Roman is the same.

Huh? He did have a rematch with Rungvisai didn’t he and got brutally stopped?

Yeah, he won the first bout handily but didn't get the decision. Then his trainer died and he showed up to the rematch looking like **** and plotzed it. But then the fight after that he took on the number 4 guy in the division and brutalized him.

Getting stopped doesn't mean anything. Pacquiao's been stopped 3 times. Klitschko got stopped 3 times then reigned for a decade. Lewis got stopped. It's what happens when you don't cherry pick.
