Juan Francisco Estrada vs Jesse Rodriguez this Saturday

I can see Estradas style being difficult for Bam. His timing/counterpunching is superb and he has very good durability. Bam is younger though so I’ll go with him but I wouldn’t be shocked at all if Estrada pulls off the upset.

 

34 is pretty old for a smaller weight fighter. 32 is to flyweights what 35 is to welterweights. El Gallo has taken a fair bit of punishment too (as most people who have the misfortune of sharing a squared circle with Chocolatito and Sor Rungvisai do).

 

Lighter weight guys age in dog years. So smaller dogs are 5 for every human year. So really Estrada looks pretty good for a 175 year old.

 

18 month layoff will be brutal for Estrada especially at age 34 which is pretty ancient for a super flyweight.

 

Gotta go with Bam decision. Should be a good fight.

i don't expect this to be too close. besides being younger, bam is just a better fighter. although not as experienced, he has already faced and beaten several top fighters, so hes not as green as his age would suggest. this kid is as special as any other fighter fighting right now, so i expect him to look it on saturday night.
