Gradovich is circling and sticking the jab into Munoz's brow, then bending aside to rattle off hooking body combos all while remaining a pace or two beyond where Munoz can tag him back with his stumpier jab and slashing rights. Munoz clinches and drags Gradovich across the ring moving backwards, and they chop at each other up close until the break and the bell.

Gradovich is leaning over to his left to curve himself around Munoz's looping right, following behind it to get in and land a counter 1-2 on the face. Hooks and strong rights by Gradovich. Munoz is responding badly to some of these head shots, getting a bit of whiplash. Gradovich puts together jabs and slicing roundhouse rights as Munoz shells up and tries diving in to rest his forearms on Gradovich's stomach. Munoz plods forward, pushing a jab up over Gradovich's hairline. Counter straight flurries by Gradovich. Munoz clubs down on him up close, hitting shoulders. Gradovich hooks the body while sliding his feet back to escape, really digging in as he goes. Overhand right converted quickly into an uppercut by Gradovich as they're pressed together with foreheads touching and butts sticking out.

I'm calling Gradovich getting the KO circa the ninth-tenth. :good

There is no let up, his punches still have substance.

 

Round 7

Gradovich is jabbing Munoz in the chest and stepping left as Munoz winds up overhand rights or paws his own jab out to find him and take aim. Combos by Gradovich while circling and using some head movement. Gradovich makes Munoz miss several jabs while staying relatively close and popping in flurries on his grill.

Yeah, it's weird - he was sprinkling them in earlier but not as much as he is known for.

Gradovich is nicknamed the "Mexican Russian" precisely because of the reputation he built up for being a fierce body puncher. :yep :?
