1 Estrada 2 Estrada 3 Gonzalez 4 Estrada 5 Estrada 6 Estrada 7 Gonzalez 8 Gonzalez 9 Gonzalez 10 Gonzalez 11 Estrada 12 Estrada 115-113 Estrada So i just watched this fight i thought Estrada boxed really nicely in the first half counter punching and boxing beautifully on the backfoot, to me Gonzalez looked a bit hesitant and wasn't being aggressive enough and he gave away too many of the early rounds. To Gonzalez's credit he cameback very well in the 2nd half pressuring Estrada and forcing him towards the ropes, but Estrada won the last two rounds with a pretty good 12th round to win close but well deserved decision. Overall i have the trilogy 1-1-1
I had it a draw, 114-114 but have no problem with a close decision for Estrada. What I do have a problem with is a 116-112 card . It was closer than that
115-113 Gonzalez. If you give any round from 6 to 11 to estrada you don't understand clean and effective punching.
So do I, which is why I scored it... Round 1 Estrada 10-9 Round 2 Estrada 10-9 Round 3 Estrada 10-9 Round 4 Estrada 10-9 Round 5 Estrada 10-9 Round 6 Estrada 10-9 Round 7 Estrada 10-9 Round 8 Gonzalez 10-9 Round 9 Estrada 10-9 Round 10 Gonzalez 10-9 Round 11 Estrada 10-9 Round 11 Estrada 10-9 118-110 Estrada 117-111 and 116-112 is fine as well. Roman was getting mercy charity rounds from most people when he started showing signs of life in the 6th and 7th, he still wasn't landing enough to nick the rounds.

I didn’t see how it was close at all. Estrada was dominating from the outside for a majority of the fight.
Yeah I felt the same, I'm not saying Choco didn't want to win but it seemed his heart wasn't in it like we have seen previously. His reflexes were slow, he was out of range and off balance more than usual. The commentary was all over the place and I don't think there was a big momentum shift in Gonzalez favour as they were making out. Giving mercy rounds to fighters is plain wrong and for fighters of this calibre it tells who is actually a fan of the sport from someone who just wants a particular fighter to win. Estrada did well conserving energy from round 6 onwards to quite clearly take the 12th. I wouldn't mind seeing a fourth but doubt it happens. Fight was good but not great. I think Nakatani is moving to 115, would like to see him with either of these guys if Bam is moving back to 112.
I did'nt get a chance to see the whole fight, but I did tune in to watch the last 4 rounds live as it was happening. I was shaking my head in disbelief as the commentators were insanely crediting Gonzales for the simple reason he was putting pressure but the problem was Gonzalez was'nt landing alot of the punches he was throwing. Estrada's punches in those last four rounds did'nt have a whole lot of steam, but they were landing imo at a much higher connect percentage than Gonzalez' were. I had Estrada winning 3 out of the last 4 rounds so its probably safe to say that if I watch the whole fight I'm going to have Estrada winning quite comfortably.
That's probably true, especially for me a big Choccolatito fan. He looked his age at that weight the 1st half of the fight. And he never really got into or stayed in high gear
