    :yep

Yeah, to be fair, I don't know that I could do the job objectively, given that my instincts skew toward chivalry.

    Round 1

Herrera is zeroing in as Hinojosa circles wide, pausing and squaring up and sticking right jabs on the body. Hinojosa is switching his stance while circling on the outside, then sprinkling in low jabs with either hand. Herrera is blocking with his gloves tight over his face. Right hand by Herrera catches Hinojosa attempting some fancy diagonal pivoting footwork while ducking and tossing up a blind right hook, and proving to lack the grace. Hinojosa is hurt and backing quickly to the ropes. Herrera moves in and shreds his face with combinations. Double jab, several left hooks, a couple of downward-thrust right hands, some uppercuts, and Hinojosa goes from wildly firing back a weak southpaw 1-2 skidding off Herrera's chest to shelling up by the ropes, to getting waved off.

    TKO1!!!

See, that was completely different from Torres vs. López, as Herrera was actually landing.

Berchelt did eventually stop Gonzalez, by the way, after five. It was a corner retirement.

Berchelt was up 50-44 through five, with Gonzalez docked a point for billy-goating in the 5th.

The dirtier fighter throughout by far, though, was Berchelt.

Kidney punches, rabbit punches, shoving down on Gonzalez, and hits on the break galore.

Berchelt is running down Orlando Salido for the dubious honor of "pound for pound filthiest Mexican". :!:

He also has bone-crunching power but is a very sloppy finisher, gets too overexcited.

The face of the Nicaraguan was covered in purplish-white bruising, with lacerations outside both eyes.

He was brave to last the five that he did.
