Winner will become the mandatory for Inoue's belt. Will Estrada suffer the same fate as his fellows in Rungvisai and Cuadras. or will he beat the former kickboxing champion? All in all, pretty decent fight.

If Estrada's not washed, his experience and better fundamentals should get him the win.

An intriguing match up. Estrada has been in too many tough battles but he’s clearly the better boxer while Nasukawa has speed going for him. A prime Estrada would win easily but now it all depends on how much the Bam fight and his previous wars have taken a lot out of him. If he still has a bit more in the tank then he should beat Nasukaw quite clearly. I’ll be rooting for the old warrior.

Estrada hasn't truly won a fight for almost 3 1/2 years.. He's only fought twice in the last 3 years. Hard to completely count someone out of his caliber, but age, inactivity etc make it hard to favor him here. It's not like Tenshin is a bum either. He came up short in his first fight for the world title, but he was in it against Inoue. This might end badly for Gonzalez.

Estrada is the far superior boxer, and has all of the experience in the world, but hes so damn old now and inactive.
Estrada is definitely not washed up or shot, hes just really old. All of this time off could actually work in his favor tho as it keeps him fresh, if he has stayed in the gym.
Nasukawa has all of the advantages when you look at boxrec, however, Nasukawa has only one gear and likes to box at a slow pace. I have seen all of his fights, and Nasukawa gets easily flustered and frustrated as well, but in these situations he does not change gears one bit, he stays the course. This is rather unfortunate because Nasukawa is extremely talented.

Nasukawa should be the slight favorite, but Estrada is a very live dog.

Can't argue with this much. Tenshin gets lots of hate these days, but he's one of the most naturally talented fighters to have come around in a long while. Had he gone pro earlier I think a good trainer would have removed showboating and other quirks from his style, but it's too heavily ingrained in him at this point. I followed his kickboxing career since he was a teenager and if you recall he fought an older Ruenroeng in kickboxing and totally schooled him and stopped him with a body shot(punch not a kick) that was almost 10 years ago and people were screaming for him to turn pro even back then. Now nearly a decade later he faces another grizzled old vet and former elite world champion but this time in a boxing ring.... I'm intrigued to see how it will play out. Estrada will be looking to prove that he isn't done and Tenshin will be champing at the bit to show that he can do better on the big stage.

Yup, I remember the Amnat fight well.

If Tenshin can kick things up a gear then he will be a nightmare for anyone.

Being at 118 right now has to suck. Bam is out there circling like a shark…

seriously, this should be a good fight. On paper, Estrada is the easy choice by a mile. But he’s getting old.

The undercard is really good like always in Japan :

    - Kyosuke Takami 10-1 (8KOs) moved up in Flyweight the former WBA Light flyweight champion will be against the Mexican Angel Ayala Lardizabal 18-1 (8KOs), this guy is the former IBF Flyweight champion, it will be a 10 rounds. Both former champions are still in good shape, so regardless of the winner I think they can both reclaim a belt. It's a tough comeback for Angel Ayala who has just come out of his big war with Masamichi Yabuki, and hasn't fought since.

    - Tomoya Tsuboi 3-0 (2KOs) will make his third professionals fights against the Mexican veteran Pedro Guevara 43-5-2 (22KOs), the Mexican is the former WBC Light Flyweight champion and the former WBC Interim Super Flyweight champion, it will be a 10 rounds in Super Flyweight. It's probably the last fight of the career of Pedro Guevara ! (Tomoya Tsuboi did a impressive victory in last November by defeated by TKO Carlos Cuadras one of the fourth Super Flyweight kings, and and he forced Cuadras into retirement).

    - the Japanese-american Katsuma Akitsugi 14-0 (4KOs) who did a impressive victory last time against the former WBC Bantamweight challenger Vincent Astrolabio by TKO, will be now against the Mexican Jose Miguel Calderon Cervantes 14-3 (6KOs), this young Mexican defeated Alexandro Santiago the former WBC Bantamweight champion and former IBF Super Flyweight challenger. It will be a 10 rounds in Bantamweight.

    - Keita Kubotera 2-0 (2KOs) will be against the Filipino Crisaldy Beltran 5-1 (4KOs) in a 6 rounds of actions, between the two young prospects in Lightweight.

This fight is a few days away and it seems to have gone under the radar for some reason. This should be an entertaining match up. Especially when you have Gallo fighting.

They’re both hearing the opening notes of the jaws music, seeing a Mexican-American with shitty taste in tattoos but excellent footwork circling slowly, hungrily….
