Ibarra jabs and hangs back. Montes throws some left hooks looping rights from outside. Ibarra counters with some short uppercuts while prancing by Montes, then starts to straighten his aim with some jabs and rights. Ibarra is landing very nicely at short to medium range. Montes just keeps looping everything, wild. Ibarra is pushed back on the ropes, and lands a nice counter left upper-hook. Montes pushes into him and digs some HARD rights to the body. Good action! A minute left. Wild combo by Ibarra, left hooks and right hands yanking him off balance as he throws them and pitches forward into Montes. Ibarra is pushed back to the ropes and Montes slaps away at his guard, then goes to the body. Counter rights by Ibarra. Left hook by Ibarra to get off the ropes. Nice double left hook to the body by Ibarra. Montes pushes forward, and rips his own nice lefts to the body! Jabs by Montes. Jab by Ibarra. Right hand lead by Ibarra. Looping right by Montes.

So far Montes has been busier, Ibarra a bit sharper. Close contest.

 

Round 2

Montes is pushing Ibarra back to the ropes again, hooking away. Ibarra lands rights to the face and hooks to the body to get some spacing. Montes throws HARD rights to the body, stabbing down with them and then flipping them around for uppercuts. All hard stuff, thrown with conviction. These guys are trying to score body shot knockouts or rupture an organ. Clubbing right by Montes, with Ibarra still caught up on the ropes. Big explosion by Montes, raining lefts and rights down on Ibarra!! A few counter uppercuts by Ibarra land flush but aren't enough to gain freedom. Montes keeps him imprisoned with that clubbing right hand!! Good action!!!!!!!!!!

Goofy and Cevichie are both usually entertaining no matter who they're in against. (both exciting, aggressive, powerful, vulnerable)
