Ford fought two ATG FW in the span of six mths and was never the same afterwards. Ford wins in this period but 83 Laporte wins .
Ford was good enough to give Sal Sanchez hell, but conversely was taken apart by E.Pedroza , which was eye opening. Laporte never had that extra gear for greatness. Always seemed to come up a little short . Ford wins this because Laporte would allow him too. Not because of skill level, power, oe speed. Ford would want it more, when push came to shove.....
