Ricky didn't need a fight like that but selected a tougher challenge that usual coming off his first loss, It was definitely a back on the bike scenario... Hatton needed a fight like that to sharpen his tools..

I thought Juan was gallent and steadfast in his approach to Hattons attacks.. Juan deserved every penny of his purse..........

Ricky in a lesser frame of mind may have succumbed under pressure like that......

    any opinions..

The general consensus before the fight was that it was too easy. Lazcano had lost his last fight and that was 15 months ago! They needed to make sure Hatton won and he did.

Yeah I think he could have gone with a bigger cream puff than " The chosen Juan" but, he didn't. I would really like to see him take on Naggi, then Bradley and maybe end Witter before he goes to a rematch with Floyd but, I think I am asking too much
