I wonder if Soto will continue his cunning plan against Antillon - looking, to the uninitiated, like he's nothing more than a decent fighter struggling to beat mediocre competition, in order to lure an unsuspecting Marquez and Pacquiao into fighting him.

Most fighters try to look as good as possible to bolster their reputation and force their way into a big fight but Soto is clearly to shrewd for that.

Urbano is a slow B-level brawler that is no match for the speed, power, ringsmarts of Soto.

Yea, all Soto has to do is Homer Simpson his opponent into a false sense of security. After he's wasted all his energy beating Soto from post to post, Urban will try and back away to conserve his energy. Then the trap is sprung:deal

Soto has way more endurance than Antillon.
Antillon tires in the fight. Thats why Antillon lost his fight to Acosta, cause he ran out of gas.
ANtillon is better suited to fight Katsidis, while Soto is better suited to fight Marquez.

Exactly. Spot on. He is doing what everyone else does. Questioning the mans balls at this point in his career is nonsensical.

Besides it makes no sense to unify anymore. The Orgs don’t like it and usually 1 of them strip people who dare to complete it.

Soto would give Marquez a beating, unlike no other fighter could give to Marquez. Thats why JMM doesn't want to fight Soto.

Soto might even make Marquez go into retirement.

    he might. I dont know.

Soto could KO this guy in the 1st round if he wants, or he'll fake his performance and look "mediocre" and make a boring 12 round decision win.

JMM fighting Katsidis isnt gonna make JMM any more much money than, if he would fight Soto.

My guess is he gets more money to fight Katsidis, the better known fighter. Can't see JMM being too worried about Humberto, who's another technical fighter like JMM but with slightly less skill and speed and considerably less power.

How do you figure? Nobody but serious boxing fans even know who Soto is. They all know Katsidis, he's been hyped 10x more than Humberto.

Soto has a large following throughout Mexico and the southwest US.

winning the WBC belt is more prestigious than defending the WBO belt.

but JMM knows he cant win that WBC belt.

He just doesnt want to get KO'd by Soto.

Mexicans don't buy HBO PPV fights.

I like Soto, I'm a fan, but saying this type of crap about JMM is just out of bounds. It's laughable to think he's scared of Humberto, JMM is a mother****ing BEAST in the ring, and as good as Soto is, he's two levels below Juan Manuel Marquez.
