    you can cry all you want. there is a reason soto isnt in these huge fights. he just isnt that good. you can rationalize it to yourself however you have to

    Soto is a very tough and risky opponent high risk low reward. Taller lightweight with a good jab some power and good defense.

    He is no easy fight for anybody, Guzman beat him by running. Im not surprised the best names are avoiding him he is a tough fight and brings almost nothing in dollars or PPV

    Sadly this is where boxing is going, the best fight once or twice a yr and the Floyds and Mannys only fight top draws rather than stay active and clean out divisions. Soto would be a good win and unification for Marquez but at this stage he only wants Manny

    I totally agree:good

    Marquez should put himself in highly competitive fights in the lightweight division by fighting such excellent boxers as Soto, Jorge Linares and Miguel Acosta, Urbano Antillon and etc. Those fights are more competitive and challenging for Marquez instead of fighting with relatively easy opponents like Michael Katsidis or Juan Diaz.

    If you disagree with my posts, give me proof/evidence of the "contrary" to my posts.

    Anyone that thinks that the big name fighters like Pac, JMM, EM, etc. are NOT ducking Soto, is proof of how blind and ignorant they are, as to what happens in boxing.

    Ive read ESB's forums the last 2-3 years, but decided to join a few months ago, because I could see that many of you clowns here dont know jack-**** about boxing, and are a bit lost.:verysad

    Why has Pacman, Marquez, Barrera, Morales, Valero, Robert Guerrero, Jorge Linares, and many others turned down, to fight him???:think

    BECAUSE THEY'RE SCARED OF SOTO.

    Rios is Marquez' mandatory.

    Thats why Rios fought Anthony Peterson in a WBA Eliminator bout, for the right to fight the WBA Champion (Juan M Marquez).

    Soto has the WBC, and Rios is ranked #4 by the WBC.

    If Rios wants to fight Soto, he needs to earn the right to fight him, by becomimg the #1 WBC contender for Soto's title.
