Juan M Marquez avoids Unification bout with Humberto Soto, to......fight Katsidis?

I don't really have an issue with this fight.

 

Kastidas was his mandatory and style wise this is gonna be a great fight! Soto ain't ****

Antonio Davis was 26-4 when he fought Soto.

As for Peterson not trying to get another shot at Soto, I'm sure the WBC felt it necessary to knock him from the top of their rankings when he turned them down seeing as how he didn't want to fight for their belt and he isn't mexican. It's widely publicized how the WBC treats Mexican fighters with more consideration than others.

 

Has anyone else started to dislike Soto just because of this thread?

Or because he didn't really give a **** about getting the WBC title and got a better deal fighting whoever the WBA regular interim temporary super duper champion was at the time.

First off, Sotosexual, I never said they denied him a shot. I said they probably dropped him from their ratings once he tried to fight for another title. It's not out of reason for the WBC to do that, they threatened to strip Devon Alexander for wanting to unify.

oh that's good. I had no idea you were a journalist and had access to the fighters like that. If someone just lost, why would they immediately demand a shot at another sanctioning body champ? They should be trying to get back in the ring, fix whatever problems they had, and then take another crack at it.

Well soto should fight rios then Rios did call him out so let's go soto come and fight rios.

 

Soto had his chance to shine against Guzman and did not deliver.

So what the **** has he done to deserve a shot at Pac?

Let Soto show that he is main event material and he will get his shot.

I bet you didn't even watch Soto vs Guzman. Do you realize that Soto at lightweight, he hasn't won by a stoppage? Pacquiao easily destroyed Diaz while Soto couldn't even do that. Soto couldn't even tko or ko Jesus Chavez who has 3 losses by ko in 1 of them was by Katsidis. Yea Soto is a threat all right.

 

To be fair Soto stopped Lorenzo and Joe Cortez gave a bull**** DQ.
