Gamboa's speed is going to destroy Juan Ma itself. The rule says speed beat power, then Gamboa's speed, power will beat Juan Ma. I have no doubts about it. Juan Ma's chin has proven to be very weak too. Rafa with a fracture shoulder almost knock him out. Lucky Rafa was already injured but Gamboa is going to make the Puerto Rican know who is the best, period.

This fight is going to be extremely competitive. Both guys are too easy to hit for it not to be. Gamboa is the clear favorite though.

Did you see how slow was Juan Ma during his last fight. Did you see the speed in his hands? None....yes, power he has but....can he handle Gamboa's speed and power?!? No, he has not seen any boxer like that. In oder for him to avoid Gamboa's power he'll have to move constantly like Rojas did, but that's not his style. Juan Ma has the perfect style for Gamboa to give him a beat. It's going to be very easy and Gamboa is going to demoralize him in front of everybody. After that day...there will be no more comments!

Juan Manuel Lopez...WOW. I have never seen a fighter in the so-called "Smaller Division" with a total lack of Hand-speed. And he always gives-up his length and allows shorter-armed (reach) fighters to close distance instead of fighting on the outside which is to his advantage. And he get's suckered into brawls with less talented opponents. There was NO WAY IN HELL he should have been in a TOE2TOE Brawl with Rogers Mtagwa for 12 rounds, 9 rounds with Penalosa or 9 Rounds with Oliver Lontchi. And his defense is just awful...he gets hit allot!!!

After beating Marquez...it's all up from here. No More Luevano, No More Lontchi, No More Mtagwa, No More Concepcion. From Here it's nothing but Elite-Level Fighters, John, Gamboa, Caballero and more. Fighters that can TAKE A PUNCH AND PACK A PUNCH!!! Very intersting to see how this all plays out.

could someone explain "weak chin"....i mean juanma got tagged A LOT on the chin, yet he didn't go down....how is that a "weak chin"....looked like after **** drinkers brother got a good shot in (numerous times) on the chin, juanman came back and threw more (i actually thought his chin was pretty good to take on them clean shots **** drinkers brother landed)....aint like juanma got spagetti legs and went down like amir

"Weak chin" i guess is a reference to him being dropped in the first by Bernabe Concepcion, not his performance against Marquez. He's been buzzed a couple of times in the past too. Mtagwa was an unexpected challenge.

Don't think I buy into the HBO hype over a supposed glassjaw. He's faced some fighters who can bang, been hit quite a bit by boxers who aren't exactly feather-fisted, and come back every time. Held up pretty well against Rafael, but Raf threw big shots infrequently. Gamboa will throw punches in bunches, tag him much more often and it will be interesting to see if Juanma can cope with the extra hand speed and punch rate.

Some of you talk as though Gamboa is not vulnerable, he has a tendency to go down. Speed doesn't always win, good timing, accuracy, power and pressure can sometimes prove too much. Competative fight and I think Lopez can win it, but at the same time he may get outboxed.
