JMM lives as a counterpuncher and feasts on brawlers, Danny isnt a brawler

JMM has all this hype for beating a guy in Pac who most knew he had figured out after 3 fights, 2 which many saw as robberies

JMM is a great fighter but lets not forget he is old and struggled mightily with Katsidis not long ago

Garcia might just make JMM play the aggressor and walk him into the lefts like he made Manny walk into the rights

 

i absolutely agree. Garcia doesn't rush in when coming forward, he steps to his opponent nicely. he doesn't allow himself to be counted too often. also, with not chasing his opponent all over the place, this puts pressure on them to meet Danny in centre ring. counter punchers need you to walk on to shots, Danny just wouldn't fall for that. this puts Marquez at the disadvantage here. Marquez can't hurt Danny, nor do i think he out points him. Danny could do it both ways. yes, Danny can crack that less than solid chin of Marquez.

Yeah, no. He did not "struggle mightily". He got caught flush in the 3rd, and after that mitigated any damage he took with body positioning, lateral movement, and movement at the waist. Diaz hit him more frequently than Katsidis did.

Assuming Marquez doesn't get beat by father time in this hypothetical match up, I'd say Marquez gives Danny a boxing lesson. Danny may have his moment, he has that power, but in the end Marquez is mind boggling when it comes to boxing ability, with power on almost everything.

This fight would never happen so keep dreaming boys. JMM has Bradley and maybe a 5 Pac fight than he is out the door.

But if it they go down by some miracle my money would ride with Garcia. Some people here really under rate the kid. If he happen to beat Juan, you would all just say that Marquez was old. So its really a no win situation for Danny.
