Possible upcoming fight for the return of Lopez. Their rivalry has been an ongoing theme here in PR. Hopefully it gets made and they can settle it like men. If and when this fight happens who do you think will come out with the W? It was announced today in El Nuevo Dia(puertorican newspaper) Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez (31-2,28KOs)vs Wilfredo "Papito" Vazquez(22-2-1,19KOs)
Sounds very interesting indeed...but the big question here is, what weight will it take place at?? Honestly i think Lopez wont be making 126lbs anymore, and 130lbs would be too much of a jump for Vazquez, especially against someone like Lopez. Maybe a catchweight? Either way, i got JuanMa by KO.
Apparently Vazquez would be going up i believe, maybe catch weight not quite sure on the details since it was just announced but will definetly keep everyone posted. At the moment Lopez KO sounds about right, but in all fairness Vazquez has more fighting skills and maturity as opposed to Lopez who always depends to much on his power and we have seen what happened. i like them both but will see what happens.
Vazquez said in the press con for oquendo that he would move up to 126. Hopefully Juanma comes back strong and shuts this dude up, Vazquez is on some dummy **** lately.
Its hard to say because of the suspension, but I doubt Vazquez will accept the fight at anything higher, plus its juanma who's pursuing him. He didnt look too far off at the oquendo fight.
