Juan Manuel Lopez looks like the next Superstar.....

If he gets some good sparring with some good prospects or championship level fighters i'm sure that he'll get better.

 

I know that he's going to take over as Puerto Rico's next star ... he respresents well and shows the same passion for his country and the same enthusiasm coming into a fight just as Tito did.

Seeing him cry like that after winning his first title in his first title fight ... i'm sure captured the attention of alot of fans ... he won against a tough guy in devasting fashion ... **** De Leon never been KO'd before ...

I'm sure Top Rank is going to do good in promoting him ... Cotto is a good fighter but doesn't show any emotion or Puerto Rican pride like Tito did ...

I believe that Arum is going to match him up with Bernabe Conception ... a phillipine fighter w/ good skill ... I think it would be a good fight for Lopez for his first defense ...

An endorsement from Tito would help a ton as well ...

 

This guy hasn't fully matured physically and has alot of filling out to do as far as his frame ...

I think he's going to get better ... his window is open --

juan ma is a welcome addition in the 122-126 weight range. brings good replacement talent to it, when guys like vasquez and marquez call it a career. his people should secure a fight against israel, this year or next, considering how much that marquez trilogy has taken a toll on him.

 

I love JuanMa and he will rule the division for years to come before moving on to Feather but he isnt beating Vasquez anytime soon. Vasquez is a beast. I give him a great shot against Rafa Marquez though.

Maybe Cotto should give him the number to whoever taught him English. He was funny in the interview at the end of the fight and he will become a bigger star if he can pick up a little English. Also I would like to see him fight any of the other current champs.
