I think that Lopez is going to knock this guy out ... I tried to start a thread about the fight ... it was kinda ****ed up that no one paid attention to it ... this is going to be a great fight and a stiff test for Lopez, but I think he's a special fighter and would do a great job. Ponce De Leon fights like a robot ... he has to be planted to land a punch ... he can't exchange ... and a fighter on his toes will give him trouble ... he lost to Penelosa (unofficially) ... Penelosa was out punching him and making him look stupid ... I think the same thing is going to happen, but Ponce De Leon is going to lose - and lose badly.
i think JuanMa has the power to KO PDL..The only question mark is JuanMa's chin..Hopefully it gets tested and hopefully he can shrug off PDLs shots. If he does that will be impressive. PDL fights like a clown but he hits hard as hell so JuanMa has to respect that.
I noticed with Ponce De Leon ... he often times loads up on his shots ... he's not very fast and doesn't have good movement ... he usually walks in ... I think Juanma's chin will hold up ... I don't see him getting hit flush with anything and I see him having better overall movement than Rey Bautista ... Its not that hard to beat Ponce De Leon to the punch either ... he's very robotic with his movements. Ponce De Leon is very strong and has power but if a fight can get on his toes - use good in and out movements ... pivot ... and use good head and shoulder movement they would have an easy night fighting this guy.
Oh and Ponce De Leon can't fight going off his back foot ... if you back him up that is another way to defeat him ... i'm not so sure about his chin either .... Overall Ponce De Leon is very limited --
It wouldve been if someone descided to put it on B.A.D ... but I can't put many fighers in front of Pavlik to headline a card.
