Lopez doesn't mention Concepcion because he doesn't know who Concepcion is...There's bigger fish to fry for Lopez.

another good young filipino prospect being fed to the lions. what a shame. boomboom, banal, now bernabe is next. he is a good kid and he maybe a champ someday but this is not the time for him to fight a world title fight. specially against a very good champ

 

This early in his career, concepcion will be masscred by juanma.

Concepcion is a good fighter but JuanMa is just too much at this stage. I hope his handlers (Pacman I believe is one of them) will do a better job with his career and not duplicate the mistakes of those dumb ALA handlers (boomboom--I think and Banal)

 

I think this thread is intentionally reminding us of what happened to boom boom and aj.

 

Just so happened that the boxing world doesn't give that much respect to Filipino prospects now because of ALA prospects who choke at championship fights. The comments here are not a reminder of what happened to them, but a very visible effect of their showcase of mediocrity to other Filipino prospects that actually HAVE talent.:-(

I thought Concepcion was going to be good. I still have hope for him. After watching him against Luevano and Santiago, I was less than impressed by his performances... He is a good fighter and will be dangerous for anyone but he is just not at this point on a elite playing field. Juanma easy in this fight. Concepcion needs to work on his game. His mental is weak, he can't adjust, he can't box, he gets tired too easy... He needs a better trainer.

 

You're right about Conception's conditioning. But Roach and Ariza is the best, I'm sure they will work on that issue.

Both of this guys KOes Luevano,it just Abe was just late by a second resulting in a DQ. Remember that a Good Journeyman almost KOed Juanma... This willl not be easy for Juanma, trust me!!! I might agree with Pacdbest for this fight. How can I doubt a Legend?
