thats i figth i cant wait to see. Juanama is a talented young boxer whos rising very well. I think his only true competition in that weigth class could be either vazquez or marquez, the others dont stand a chance. Both are extremely good mexican warriors.
I think Caballero definately has a shot against him as well. JuanMa even admitted as such. JuanMa vs. Caballero is the fight I really want to see.
Agreed 100% I can't wait to see him fight Marquez or Vazquez!! Those fights should be quite exciting and we might finally be able to see Juanma fight for more than 1 freaking round and finally see him against someone who is a real challenge..:bbb
Sure he does.. Just like they said Ponce De Leon would and also said that he wasn't ready for him or that the dude after Ponce was realy durable lol! yet they were both making love to the canvas in the 1st round.. A little early to say he is overrated don't think?
I dont think he's overrated but he is still untested, i havent seen his chin, people say is good, but to be honest I'm 100% boricua de cora mi gente de Ponce PR but i think vazquez can dismantled him in every round.
Well, if you think Vazquez is on De Leon's level, then you're either seriously overrating De Leon or seriously underrating Israel Vazquez. A few quick wins doesn't make JuanMa a fighter on Vazquez level, who's a top5 P4P-er. JuanMa is not even in the 25. But the future is bright for him, although Vazquez in a few months time would be too early. A fight vs. Jhonny Gonzalez would be a nice and legitimate test.
I wanna see Juanma take on Gonzales first then if he beats him fight Vasquez. Right now I think Vasquez would destory him. My question is what is Juanma gonna do when he hits Vasquez with everything and Vasquez is still punching back relentlessly. A lot of people get discouraged by this. Specialy if they are not used to it.
That reminds me of Angel Vasquez. He had a beatiful left hook, but when he could not get you outta there, he would fall apart. Angel reminded me of a smaller Tito. I don't know if any of you guys remember him. He was from CT, but his nationality was of PR.
Marquez is supposedly fighting Caballero next year..... To say none of the other fighters stand no chance against Juanma is seriously overrating him... Theres Caballero, Cordoba, Gonzales in that division as well... As for Juanma/Vasquez... I think that fight would start off well, but as it goes on, Vasquez will slowly take over.... Juanma is better off fighting Steve Molitor or Jhonny Gonzalez.....
Nobody is saying that he is the second coming but the kid is doing good.. Whenever someone is doing good then people start saying that he is overated..
I was never comparing Vazquez and Deleon I was mentioning the fact that when Juanma fought Deleon there was a lot of people saying that he wasn't ready and that Deleon was going to KO him bad (We all saw what happenned..Same with the next two after that fight. Vazquez is a great fighter no doubt.. And like I said on my previous post I would love to see Lopez against some real oposition.. Vazquez,Marquez Caballero.. You know what I'm saying... However I do think that Lopez has a bright future in the division and he will be a tough cookie for any of the top guys and won't be burried like others say..
