    Round 2

Lopez lands well with his right hook. Salido comes in at tricky angles, crouching in and landing left hooks to the body and then punching up with his right hand. Lopez is getting hit with jabs. Lopez pushes down on Salido's head and Salido torpedoes him with body shots. Lopez lands a straight left. Salido jabs his way in, and keeps his arm hanging like a clothesline to intercept Lopez's short right hook. HARD rights by Salido! They are just trading grenades up close.

Salido did the overall better work.

Juan ma's power is so deceiving. He will throw a combo that looks like shoe shining but you can tell it hurts Salido.

    2 - 0 Lopez,

Salido is finding him on some of his wide punches.

It's 6 a.m. now in Europe and I've stayed up all night for boxing. Can't get enough of it.

    Round 3

Salido is busy, throwing short right hands on his way in and left hooks when he gets up close. Lopez is countering with his right hook and left uppercut, hitting Salido flush on the skull with both. Salido doesn't take a backward step. Salido gets inside and lands his right repeatedly on the chin. Lopez is wincing. Lopez backs away and throws his 1-2. Wild overhand right by Salido misses. Lopez stays just outside his reach. Big flurry by Lopez, hooking and crossing. They exchange openly, Lopez landing harder. Salido takes it all well. They tie up.

    29-28 Lopez

I love Gus Johnson calling the fight... Salido is doing a very respectable job, landing some nice shots inside.

    3 - 0 Lopez,

Lopez landed the more effective punches and negated most of Salido's pressure with counters.
