    Hit the rewind button, guys.

    Yes, at the very moment it was stopped Lopez was starting to come back...but there were moments just 5-10 seconds before that where 90% of refs would have stopped it.

    Lopez got SHELLED in the chin, and had his head bouncing all over the place for a while. SEVERAL unanswered blows landed for Salido.

    It was a LATE stoppage, not early.

    The moment it came was just awkward, because Salido had stopped landing as much and Lopez was coming back.

    5 seconds earlier would have been a PERFECT time to stop it.

    Lopez was ****ed.

    whoaaaaaa. little bit of an early stoppage there, but it seemed inevitable anyways. juanma was clearly still throwing...

    glad to see him lose, though. he's clearly an egomaniac. props to the veteran. made juanma pay for dropping his hands and fighting carelessly.

    great fight.

    I hate when refs let fighters take a sustained amount of shots and then when the flurry dies down and one fighter throws a shot back they then stop it.

    On the replay Salido was landing absolutely everything he threw, Lopez was just swinging arm shots and had nothing left - BUT he was still throwing, so you can't stop it! If he doesn't stop it Juanma was going down before the round was over anyway -

    I don't agree with the stoppage but that was a great fight while it lasted. Salido was robbed from making that a clear TKO victory.
