What the **** happened to Lopez though the guy looked like ****. It looks like he places his punches and doesn't turn them over or punch through the target anymore. I can't understand that when you look at the guy who corked right through Ponce De leon's jaw. But these days its like he is just hoping his momentum and shoulder tortion will get him a knockout.

The ref deprived us to see a knock out! ****ing ref!

Lopez has been exposed! He has problems with speedy fighters! Gamboa will knock him out!

Even though my boy JML lost tonight, boxing was amazing tonight. It has been a long time since I saw this much action in one night.

this was a great stoppage...right b4 the end he hit him so hard he went dumbfounded and hands down in the corner.....good stoppage...juanma has been overrated for awhile but his still is exciting but he has regressed since his fight with penalosa

It's a tough call really. Tyson-Ruddock 1 also gets controversy. I understand where the ref is coming from as it's a tough call to make and there's no "replays" while the action is going on. I felt JML was a few more punches away from being rocked again but the ref's job is to make sure the fighters don't take unecessary punishment and he did that tonight. I'll rewatch the stoppage tomorrow as I'm still on a high from the great fights I've seen today.

I thought the stoppage was a little premature. But, the truth is, Juanma was taking a beating. Salido was gonna hurt him even more. That is why the ref stopped it

He was doing that in the first three or four rounds, then he got caught and from that point on we knew it was a matter of time.

Punching back out of instinct. I agree the stoppage was a bit premature but JuanMa had already taking too much punishment and there was still a lot of time left. Ref did the right thing for JuanMa.

Common Lopez was to b saved by somebody, it seems to me that his corner would had not make the call, the kid was getting pummeled and what you call throwing punches I called waving at the air.
