He was still throwing punches and even landed some. Yes Lopez was hurt but he was still throwing punches. When Salido hit 1 left hook all of a sudden the ref stop the fight. <<<<Tell me that makes any sense at all? I could see Lopez being stopped later on but still to lose like that by a dumb ref making a dumb stoppage is f4cked up. Any body with a f4cking brain would agree to this. Lopez was hurt but was still throwing punches back. It's a damn shame stuff like this happen. One person mention about De la hoya vs Quartey in the 12th? That's a good example but the ref didn't stop that fight even though Quartey was clearly hurt while Oscar was throwing 3 or 4 clean left hooks that hurt Quartey but no stoppage. Do you think the ref should have stop that fight even though Quartey was still throwing punches?
