Green was telling the referee that the punch was a borderline rabbit punch and therefore he'd rather be awarded the win by default than actually fight because he was getting outfought in a dogfight by a 41 year old man with more heart.

Unfortunately Johnson can't touch Ward, Abraham, or Froch. I kind of hope he gets to fight Ward cause at least he won't get hurt.
