Round 3

Bey is working behind his jab. Cruz looks to have recovered in full and is whacking away with missiles from each hip. Cruz is staggered again! Bey walks in with jabs and hooks and Cruz backs him off with a counter right. Cruz is leading with high rights and trying to start a firefight with Bey, who has the faster hands but wants no part of that type of match. Bey boxes and moves.

Round 4

Bey puts in consistent work, using different levels, jabbing and turning. Cruz tries to grab Bey or catch him with a right hand but is too slow to do either. Bey hurts Cruz yet again with a single left hook...and Cruz again survives.

 

Round 5

Bey steps in quickly with jabs and hooks. Cruz is low on activity besides a couple of jabs. Bey is getting a bit careless with long hooks now, leaving his chin exposed as he moves in front of Cruz while punching. Bey takes quick steps around Cruz and works his left hand.

 

Round 6

Cruz is aggressive but not finding the target. Bey is just staying out of range and throwing a couple of jabs at a time. Both men take a couple of wide swings from too far away. Big punches from both down the stretch.
